Distribution CenterIf supply chain and logistics are your gigs of choice, we can book you in one of three venues across the country – in Albany, NY, Canton, OH or Carson, CA. This is where our three distribution centers are located. Whether we're processing used CDs in Carson or shipping out new DVD players to our stores from Albany, we rely on talented associates who keep the supply chain moving. In our DCs the days are fast-paced because our people are responsible to keep the product moving into and out of all our stores. On occasion they might find themselves watching a live performance when one of the artists featured in our stores drops by for an impromptu concert or to sign autographs – yes, right there in our workplace – that's one of the benefits of working for us. At what other place could you listen to Trick Pony or Zakk Wylde or catch a glimpse of Jay Z, Judy Collins, the Foo Fighters or Garth Brooks while packing up their CDs? Our DC associates specialize in Operations, Information Technology or Loss Prevention. However, since promoting from within is the rule rather than the exception, they don't stay in one place. At a Trans World distribution center, associates move around and up to other departments and opportunities regularly. We also have openings at our fixture company in Johnstown, NY.
